Turkish textile firm, Yeşim Tekstil, intends to complete their new production plant in Ağrı in next 3 years.

Once the plant is completed, it is expected to give employment to 5,000 people, which is a part of firm’s efforts to contribute to the revival of region’s economic development. Reportedly, the plant is a part of the Agri Textile City Project.

The recently held groundbreaking ceremony of the 44,000 square metre ready-to-wear plant was attended by dignitaries including Süleyman Soylu, Interior Minister and Senol Sankaya, CEO, Yeşim Tekstil.

While providing information on the investment, Senol Sankaya said that the production plant is a proud investment for the Turkish textile sector.

“As always, we will continue to be the major supplier of world’s most trusted brands and would position ‘Made in Turkey’ as a global brand through the dozens of brands we work with,” further substantiated the CEO.

Yeşim Tekstil, which started in 1983, produces ready-to-wear and home textiles for world brands.
